Happy Easter Break

This months had many notable dates;
We had mother’s day, World Down Syndrome day, the start of Ramadan, Autism awareness week, and we are currently in Lent leading up to Easter!

I hope that in the future we can have more contributors on our instagram who can tell us what it means to them to be part of these events and learn from each others stories.

Some trivia for you: did you know the month of Ramadan and Easter are based on sightings of the moon!

Technically Ramadan is based on a purely lunar calendar whereas Lent and Easter are based on a lunisolar calendar. With Easter falling on the first Sunday after the full Moon that occurs on or after the spring equinox!

That same full moon will also mark the middle of Ramadan this year!
